Despite its smaller size, this mixer does a great job at whipping up batters and doughs. The stir mix setting is perfect for cakes, while the other speeds allow for faster mixing. One downside is that the replacement splash guard may need to be custom-made. While it is not as quiet as some might hope, it is not particularly loud either. It is unclear about PFOA and PFOS chemicals in the dough hook and beater. The mixer bowl can make about two batches of cookies. The removable splash guard is a plus, and the mixer comes with beaters. Overall, this mixer is very easy to use and is perfect for small households.
