How long are these bands? My cob has huge legs but the photo shows a horse with very slender legs. Does it matter if I add some tape to lengthen them?

Answer: I used in stable because longer in stable than paddock and although they can be kept on for 24 hours, I'm unsure of that theory so, bands in stable on front legs, boots on back legs in paddock. I had my 33 year old horse put to sleep 3 weeks ago. We had her for 26 years, 7 months and 11 days. 😪💔 -

Is the pain relief bands suitable/usable/durable out in a field. Are they waterproof?
Answer: Hi, I know of no one who has had a horse living out in these bands, but do know of people who leave them on whilst schooling. They are a band of soft but tough material, probably not waterproof, with Velcro attach straps. They are a very good product, use them on a top International dressage horse and a national dressage horse. Hope helps you! S x -

Would these work for a pony whom had pulled ligament around her stifle and is doing a bit of toe dragging ?
Answer: They are excellent bands and made a big difference to my horse's mobility. So may help with the recovery of your pony. But maybe worth asking your vet? -

Do you need to one on each leg ?
Answer: I did. I used on front legs and had one on each leg. If you think about it, it makes more sense to balance but I don't think you need to cover all 4 unless of course horse has a problem front and back.
