Do you have to be in the house to record a program or can you set a recording when not at home?
Answer: You can set it to record programs when you are at home and if you get the HUMAX app on your mobile it lets you set programs when you are away from the home and it works very well. -

What does this do that the humax fvp-5000t 1tb doesn't?
Answer: Although the 5000T is a good option for subscription-free TV, the Humax Aura has everything the 5000T offers and more. It supports 4K HDR content, resolutions of up to 2160p and Dolby Audio, and allows you to access thousands of apps via the Google Play Store. -
Question:
Does it come with a hdmi 2.1 cable?
Answer: It comes with an HDMI cable, don’t know if it’s a 2.1 but as it’s designed for 4K images it should be to the latest standard. -

Can you side load and twin tune?
Answer: You can download an app called sideloader from the play store to sideload. The term 'twin tune' is not known. -

Does it have a front USB port?
Answer: It has two USB ports on the rear left-hand side, one USB2 and one USB3. -

Does it have Netflix?
Answer: Not yet, if it doesn't get Netflix before the return period ends, it can be returned. -

Can recordings on the aura be copied to a flash drive or external hd via the usb port?
Answer: Recordings can be converted for download and saved to a phone using the aura app. It is possible to transfer recordings to any device using an FTP app installed on the aura, but it has not been personally tried yet. -

Can the LG magic remote control this box?
Answer: No, the LG magic remote does not find a match with this box. LG may need to update their software to recognize it. -

Can you install the Sky Go app?
Answer: Not tried it yet. Check the app store to see if it is compatible with the box.
