- Bu kitap, gösterilen ilgi sayesinde ilk baskıları tükenen Mühendislik Mekaniği: Dinamik isimli kitabın üçüncü baskısıdır. Eser toplam on iki kısımdan oluşmaktadır. Her bir kısım birbirini tamamlayacak şekilde birleştirici bir görüş açısıyla ele alınmış ve özellikle dinamik ile matematik arasındaki sıkı ilişkinin ortaya konmasına itina edilmiştir. Problemlerin sanayi tipi problemler olmasına özen gösterilmiş; makine, uçak, tekstil ve inşaat mühendisliği ve askeriye alanından alınan problemler ile bu alanların tümüne hizmet edebilecek bir eser meydana getirilmiştir. Bu yeni baskıya Lagrange Mekaniği kısmı da eklenerek daha karmaşık mekanik sistemlerini çözümlememizi sağlayacak bir eser ortaya çıkarılmıştır. İlk kısımlarda da genişletmeler yapılmış, çözümlü ve çözülecek örnek sayıları artırılmıştır. Sadece öğrenci seviyesinde kalmamak ve gelişen sanayinin daha karmaşık problemlerini çözebilmek için Matlab programından yararlanma yoluna gidilmiş ve özellikle non-lineer dinamik problemlerini Matlab ile çözmemizi sağlayacak dosyalar ayrıntılı olarak verilmiştir. Eser bu yönü ile hem Türkçe literatür hem de yabancı literatür için yenilikler ihtiva eden bir modernite düzeyini yakalamıştır. Eserde bulunan problemlerin çözümlerini içeren, Mühendislik Mekaniği: Dinamik Çözümleri başlığı ile ikinci bir kitap yapılmış ve böylece literatürümüzün ilk Türkçe dinamik seti meydana getirilmiştir. Kitap ileri düzey konuları da içerdiği için öğretim üyelerinin lisans ve yüksek lisans düzeyinde anlatabilecekleri konuları özenle seçmeleri gerekmektedir.
