The EZ Bed is known for its fast setup and automated inflation system. The bed inflates within two minutes and comes with a built-in whisper-quiet secondary motor that prevents air loss while you sleep. The primary inflating system is loud, but it does the job quickly. The surface of the bed may take some getting used to, but it is comfortable overall. There are three selectable firmness levels for the mattress, but some customers complained that all options were hard and uncomfortable. The bed stays fully inflated throughout the night and the pump runs automatically to top off air if the pressure drops. Deflating the bed requires manually pushing down on the retracting legs to ensure all the air comes out, and the bed can be easily zipped up and stored in the wheeled case provided. Some customers noted that zipping it up requires quite a bit of effort. While the frame and mattress are attached and do not come apart, it may not be sturdy enough for two people who do not like each other as there is a slight roll to the center of the bed. The EZ Bed is easy to operate and very cost-effective, making it an excellent choice for guests, camping or when moving to a new home.
