  • Question: Why do you need AAA batteries?

    Answer: Solar panels efficiently absorb sunlight and convert it into electricity stored in the rechargeable battery, which is conducive to the long-term work of the lantern.
  • Question: How can I tell if the solar panel switch is on?

    Answer: The switch on the lantern is to turn the light on and off. There is no switch for just the solar panel. The lantern will charge whether the light switch is on or off; it just has to be exposed to light. The light won't come on unless it is dark enough.
  • Question: Battery location and replacement?

    Answer: The solar lantern battery is located under the solar panel. You can unscrew it to replace it. The battery used is 1 AA NiMH rechargeable battery.
  • Question: Moisture left inside globe after heavy rains, is this normal or defect?

    Answer: I have not experienced this. I suggest checking if all pieces are tight and in place correctly. If the issue persists, contacting customer support for further assistance would be recommended.
  • Question: Ordered 2 sets, they had equal amount of time in the sun to charge. 2 of the 4 were still bright enough to light up stairs, what's my solution?

    Answer: If all the lanterns were placed in DIRECT sunlight all day, all should be equally bright. Try switching the bright lanterns with the dull ones to see if it's a positioning issue. If the dull ones remain dull, consider exchanging them with new ones or requesting a refund.
  • Question: Do these charge while they are turned off?

    Answer: No, the switch must be turned on when charging the lantern. The lantern will automatically light up at night and turn off when the battery is empty. The next day it absorbs sunlight and automatically recharges.
