This dexos1 Gen3 approved formulation is designed for modern gasoline engines and helps inhibit low-speed pre-ignition (LSPI), a combustion event that can cause premature wear or catastrophic failure. It delivers excellent oxidation stability, improved wear protection, enhanced fuel economy, and superior low-temperature performance to help protect engines during cold starts.
