    Answer: No, it does not. This is my 2nd purchase of this strap. I have purchased this strap to attach to my kids dedicated ipad talker/ or her speech device, and it worked perfectly. Very sturdy. It definately kept her from dropping it during use, and it allowed her to always keep her speech device close by whenever she would need it. It worked great for us! We even purchased a second one for her everyday iPad.
