How do I measure my downpipe?

The bottom does not look like it is crimped. If so do I have to purchase a tool to do that?
Answer: It does have a crimp. However all downspouts are not exactly the same size. What you will do is to take a needle nose pair of pliers put it in each one of the four corners and gently twist clockwise. This will give you as much crimp as you need based on how much you rotate those pliers. -

What are dimensions?
Answer: Overall width is 8 inches, distance between both inlets is 2 inches, and both inlets and outlet are 3 inches. -

What is the center to center dimension on the 3x4 and 2x3 (dimension between inlet centerlines)?
Answer: If I understand your question, the 2x3 center to center inlet is 5 inches. -
Question:
Can you explain the sizes? What do those measurements signify?
Answer: The top of the Y will accept the male ends of 2 2X3 inch downspouts, and the bottom will fit into the top end of a 2X 3 inch downspout. It's all made from the same size 2X3 inch tubing, but the difference between the male and female ends is that the male ends are crimed down in size so the fit into the uncrimped (female) ends. -
Question:
Will this work with a vinyl gutter system? (I imagine it should)
Answer: I am no expert on this question but I would imagine it will not connect at the joint properly as vinyl is smooth the aluminum gutter system is crimped. -
Question:
Does anyone have the measurement for the distance between two downspouts?
Answer: Distance between both downspouts is 2 inches. Overall width is 8 inches and both downspouts are 3 inches. Hope this helps.
