This clock does not have an alarm and its wall clock size makes it not ideal for one. However, it has large numbers that are easy to read and gives off a nice night light effect when hung in a living room. The clock uses 110V and the remote temperature sensor requires 2 AAA batteries. The universal voltage wall wart is 100-240VAC. There is a customer service department available for replacement parts and inquiries. Overall, the clock's time, date, and day-of-the-week functions work well and are easy to see. The indoor/outdoor temperatures are not always accurate and there are no adjustments or resets. Some customers had issues with the outdoor temperature sensor, but for the most part, it seems to work fine. One customer experienced inaccuracies in the indoor temperature reading, but customer service contacted them and provided a free replacement unit.
