However, it has a major flaw in that the hinge cannot be locked, making it almost impossible to draw a circle accurately. The compass itself is flimsy and the plastic screw used to hold the pencil in place is not very durable. The case is the best part of the product. If you prefer using the imperial system over the metric system, you may want to consider a different compass.
