Customers can move their CableCARD from their old DVR to the TiVo Edge, but they need to contact both their cable company and TiVo Support to make the switch. TiVo Edge does work with TiVo Mini's for multi-room functionality. The device has Wi-Fi built-in, but unfortunately, streaming content cannot be recorded. The Lifetime subscription cannot be transferred to a different device. Lastly, the product does not have the Apple TV app, but it has a couple of dozen apps.
