Answer: Yes, depending on the upper half you had the insert in the lower half maybe for a bolt in upper half. They make a different insert for the door for each style of wind. -

Answer: Yes, all factory TJ half doors. -

Answer: No, these are not threaded. These are for the TJ half doors with soft uppers. -

Answer: Yes, they fit the YJ hard half doors. -

Answer: 3 but two of the six I bought (2 orders) don't fit quite right, but they do the job. -

Answer: Yes, they will work for YJs and TJs. They just push into the door, they are directional.
