It is water-based and penetrates into the wood surface, making it a great option for outdoor wood structures such as decks, fences, and log cabins. The stain is easy to apply with a brush, roller, or sprayer and dries quickly. Additionally, it provides great adhesion and longevity. The semi-transparent cedar stain gives the wood a natural look without hiding the wood grain. Although the product cannot be used on pre-sealed surfaces, it can be used on a mixture of pressure-treated and natural cedar wood without any issue.
