PawHut Cages D51-153 Editorial Review
This cage has a bar spacing of approximately 1/2 inch (13mm) which is suitable for baby rats. However, it cannot be used for Guinea pigs. The cage has a small door opening which makes it hard to clean. Some customers have had trouble assembling the cage and the instructions are not very clear. A few customers complain that the plastic bottom tray is not secure and flimsy. Others have had problems with the bars not being attached to the panel frame properly. One customer has solved the problem with the slippery ramps by replacing them with wooden bird perch ladders. The size of the cage is smaller than expected but the bar spacing is great for keeping the rats in. Overall, it is a cheap cage with design issues but it is worth the money spent. The hammock is thin and uncomfortable, and the cage can be used for rats only.
