With easy attachment using a suction cup, it works great and does not leave any marks when applied to a flat solid surface. However, the pickup only works for the front grill. For full alternative sound, Myers makes another style pick up that has another microphone attached for the rear buttons. While it would be a clever and unique way to use the pickup for singing and piano playing, it is not what it was designed for. Although the microphone can be used to mic a grand piano in mono, investing in a dynamic vocal microphone is suggested for more flexibility.
