The Lutron Claro 15 Amp Single-Pole Rocker Switch with Locator Light is a single pole mechanical switch with a locator light that serves as a great night locator but not as a night light. It has a very dull yellow light that is visible in low light but not bright enough to illuminate. This switch is quiet and much less noisy than most toggle switches but still produces a snapping sound. It will not bleed voltage to an LED light and will make the lights go completely off. The switch is not a smart device and has no compatibility with the smart hub. Lutron suggests grounding the CA-1PSNL if a grounding wire is available but it can operate without it if necessary. It does not come with a cover plate. Customers have found the switch easy to install with good quality. However, some expressed disappointment since the locator light was hardly visible and not worth the cost. The switch worked fine but did not give off any light, making it useless as a locator light. The Lutron switches are a bit more expensive, but they seem to fit better. Some found that the switch would let 64v bleed through when off, which was frustrating.
