    Answer: Ours would not hold water. I used a flashlight under each of the four bottom corners and could see light through three of the four bottom corners. We have never had water splash from the sink into the drawer when brushing teeth or washing hands with the drawer folded out.

    Answer: Not sure of overall thickness/width of soft close Hinges. That will be the determining factor. As they go on first, then the pan goes in. 19 might be a little snug
