Can wheels be added to this shelving unit? Which ones will go with this unit?
Answer: Yes, it does require the posts to be re-worked to accommodate them - any of our stem casters will work with these posts - ie 5M, 5MB, 5MP, 5MPB, 5PC, 5PCB, 5MDA, 5MDBA -

Is this 4 separate units? or just 4 shelves?
Answer: It is 1 complete unit that consists of 4 shelves and 4 posts. -
Question:
What do you mean "the posts to be re-worked to accommodate castors"? Is this a simple procedure or are special tools required?
Answer: The posts have a leveling foot and casting in the bottom, to accept casters these would have to be removed. There is not a tool. There are a couple of ways to do it, one is to take a rubber mallet taping the leveling foot away from the posts pulling out both pieces, or take the post cap off the other end and take something long and skinny and push the pieces out as the post is hollow -

Is the Super Erecta Industrial unit made from chrome-plated solid steel?
Answer: No, this item is our super erecta brite finish. It is not chrome plated, it has the look of chrome with a protective lacquer coat. -
Question:
What is meant by split posts?
Answer: So that the item fits in one carton, the posts are split in half, both ends are threaded and a threaded insert is included. When putting the two (2) pieces together with the threaded connector, the post is at its full height of 74". -

Can you purchase extra shelves?
Answer: Yes. Extra shelves for the EZ1860NC-4 are available. The item number is 1860NC.
