This 2 quart saucepan is lead-free, has a stainless-steel handle, and is dishwasher and oven safe. The handle is comfortable to grip and stays cool. The diameter of the pot is 7.87 inches, while the empty weight is approximately 1.2 lbs, and the pan is 3 inches deep. However, the lid may not fit perfectly. The pan cannot handle high heat nor can it be used to boil water. It is a stock pot designed for low to medium heat and hand washing is highly recommended. It may not be suitable for use on an induction range due to its ferrous contact being too low. The MICHELANGELO saucepan set is made in China.
