Does a Parker converter fit this product?
Answer: No. Parker cartridges and converters have a different neck. The best option is a Waterman converter as some other 'international' types are too wide at the screw end to fit in the barrel. -
Question:
What size of cartridge is required for this pen i.e. standard or large?
Answer: It uses Waterman sized cartridges specific to the pen. To be honest you'd be better off buying a Waterman convertor for the pen (about £5.00) and using bottled ink because the range of colours in the Waterman cartridges is fairly limited. -
Question:
I have mislaid the cap. Can I purchase a new cap?
Answer: Sorry to hear about your pen but unfortunately Waterman doesn't sell parts apart from nibs. Try to search online for sellers who might sell parts for this model or used pen to replace your cap, otherwise new pen will come at the price. -
Question:
Does it work with standard Pelikan cartridge?
Answer: Pelikan ink cartridges are international size and can be used in a variety of cartridge-converter fountain pens, including Waterman pens. -
Question:
Does the pen dry out with the cap on if not used for say a couple of weeks?
Answer: I have not experienced the nib drying out when not used for a while. Just to check, I've not used the pen for a few weeks and it is writing ok. You just need to make sure that the pen filler tube is full and filled correctly. -
Question:
Do Waterman still do their free nib change service for new pens? Send it in and swap a medium nib for a fine one, say?
Answer: Specify the nib you want when purchasing. I have 3 pens, 2 with medium nib and one with fine - all specified at the time of purchase. -

Does this pen come giftboxed?
Answer: Yes. Comes in the latest Waterman gift box. -
