The case comes with a hard plastic shell and a soft foam liner inside with a paper-like finish. While the product can protect the drive from dust, it is not entirely dust-proof. The case offers ample space around the drive, allowing it to slide a bit, which could be a problem. The product is meant for 3.5 inch drives and not laptops, as the drive might rattle around. It is not suitable for storing 2.5 inch drives, either, because of the empty space. The case is a good storage option for several 2.5 inch HDD drives. One downside of the product is that the latch is quite tight and requires a screwdriver or flat, metal object to open. The product comes in several colors, including Orange, but the photo representation is off, and the actual product is a bright canary yellow.
