The Stainless Steel Seed Sprouting Kit is a great and durable product that is perfect for sprouting Alfalfa & Broccoli with ease. Although the product description says that the Country of Origin is the USA, the product is made in China which some customers found misleading. The sprouter is easy to clean and use and unlike jars that use mesh lids, this product works great with a much better germination rate. One issue some customers had was that the mesh trays are only 1.5 inches deep and the mesh diameter (the growing area) measured from the bottom is 7.5 inches which is much smaller than the 9x9 advertised size. Some customers also found the sprouter to be fragile and wobbly. The quality of the product is generally great, but customers found that the roots of the sprouts grow through the mesh and attach themselves, making it difficult to remove them for harvesting. Lastly, the sprouts do not grow as long as they do in the jar, but overall the product works as advertised and is a more convenient alternative to jars.
