The outer cover is rubber, but it does not easily come off. However, small port covers could be chewed off, which may be a concern for some. It cannot be used with other screen protectors as it comes with its own. The case works with model A1893 and pr7f2ll/a. The product is not recommended for the 7th generation iPad.
