The HHIP 8600-3401 is a 3-ton ratcheting arbor press designed for pressing or broaching. It is a sturdy and well-made tool that delivers 3 tons of pressure. With a throat/ram distance of 8.5 inches, it can accommodate items up to 7.5 inches between the ram and the round plate. The press does not come with any bits, and it does not accept bits. However, it is compatible with the ratcheting gear (HHIP #8600-3302) and the retaining ring (HHIP #8600-3303), which are both offered by HHIP as replacement parts. The press does not come with a drilling template for the mounting holes, so customers building a stand will need to find the correct positioning on their own. Overall, this is a reliable and powerful arbor press that can handle a variety of pressing and broaching tasks.
