The Blade Assembly has a rubber gasket which cannot be removed but can be cleaned with the free cleaning brush that comes with the set. Despite some issues with over-filling preventing optimal blending and the drinking lid being a bit too large, the Beast Blender Hydration System is a great purchase for anyone wanting to make delicious smoothies, shakes or infused water at home.
