The Hakko-CHP-170 Micro Cutter is a durable, sharp and well-designed tool that is great for cutting soft alloy wires such as copper or tin. Its spring-loaded handle is of nice design and is made in Italy. It is also perfect for work with wires that are up to 1mm thick and is great for use in cutting braided fishing lines, sprues in hobby kits, jewelry wires and small wires in RDA systems. However, it is not suitable for cutting heavy-duty wire and may break easily if used in that capacity.
