The Wilwood Engineering Adjacent Proportioning Valve Knob Style (10mm X 1.0) is a great product that provides flexibility to mount in any position. Although bleeding the valve becomes challenging if mounted in an unusual position. This valve does not come with a mounting bracket, but making a bracket with two holes drilled in flat stock is relatively simple. It works with bubble flares and not with standard double flares. The valve is not designed to close completely and only closes up to a maximum of 70%. Customers have stated that it works great and is an awesome product at a great price. It has been used successfully for a variety of brake systems, including deleting the proportioning valve in a Toyota Tundra, replacing expensive proportional valves in older Volvo brake systems and installing in a rear disk conversion on a 1993 Dodge D250 Cummins. However, one customer received the valve with improperly cut outlet threads and had to re-tap them.
