Star Wars: Darth Vader: Dark Lord of the Sith Vol. 1 - Imperial Machine Paperback is an interesting tale where we see Darth Vader's first steps in the new Empire after the Clone Wars. The story showcases Darth Vader as a vulnerable character who is not entirely set on his evil ways, making him a more engaging protagonist. The graphic novel also highlights the challenges Darth Vader faces while dealing with the confusion of the new Empire, uncertain clone troopers, and power struggles. Though some of the artwork looks wonky, the majority of it is decent, and the first issue of the graphic novel is good.
