Users have been using it to make Americano. However, the device does not have insulation and won't keep your water hot for hours. The gasket tends to weaken after daily use and may require manual cleaning every after one or two uses. Some users experienced disassembling issues, while others had issues with the seal coming lose and spraying coffee grounds. This product is more expensive than AeroPress.
