Phillip Quaintrell’s book, Rise of the Ranger The Echoes Saga: Book 1, sets the premise of a good story where the elves are determined to wipe out all mankind to restore balance to the world. In this tale, the knights, the Arakasher, and the Dragons are the only ones who stand in their way. The author creates great heroes and compelling villains, and this story is set to be as great as the Fellowship of the Ring. The characters grow and change dramatically throughout the tale, in positive ways for the heroes and not so much for the bad guys.
