The JEGS 81545 Plasma Cutter is a great addition to any garage mechanic's tool collection as it is simple to use and reasonably priced. However, it comes with poor instructions, and the handheld face shield is terrible. Customers recommend an inexpensive pair of tinted safety goggles instead. It functions well on both 110v and 220v electrical input and can cut through thinner metals effortlessly. However, it requires a filter to remove water from the airline when in use. While some complaints were of air leaks from the box, they were fixable inexpensively with solutions found on YouTube.
