This versatile disk allows you to securely attach an Arkon or third-party 80mm windshield suction mounting pedestal to your car's dashboard. Whether you have a Garmin or TomTom GPS device, this adhesive disk provides the perfect solution. Designed to ensure a secure fit, this 90mm adhesive mounting disk is slightly larger than the mount itself.
Simply remove the paper backing from the 3M dash mount disc and apply it to a previously cleaned surface on your dashboard. For the best results, use the included alcohol pad to ensure that the mounting area is clean and free of any dashboard conditioners or treatments. Allow 24 hours for the adhesive to cure before securing the base of the mount to the center of the disk. While this disk is meant to be a semi-permanent solution, it can be easily removed by applying rubbing alcohol or a similar adhesive removal product to the area with a cotton swab.
Let the liquid saturate the area, then use a long piece of dental floss to cut through the adhesive and remove the disk. Please note that this package includes only the adhesive disk, and the mounting pedestals are sold separately.
