Answer: This cannot be hardwired to a fused outlet without plug as it has a transformer plug. You could however simply run a spur socket from your fused outlet to somewhere hidden that has space for the transformer plug. -

Answer: No, It needs a WiFi link to function fully -

Can Tapo strip light work with a motion sensor?
Answer: It could work if youu2019re using a smart home setup controlled by an Echo 4th Gen or Echo Show 8, and have a connected Zigbee motion sensor trigger a routine to turn the lights on/off. -
