The Scotty Flush Deck Mount Rod Holder Bracket is a great addition to any kayak or boat setup. The splash cover helps prevent water from splashing into the rod holder. The mount is designed to drain water, which is a nice feature. It can be mounted onto a fiberglass rail or sit-on-top kayak, as long as the rail is wide and thick enough. The base plate dimensions are 4" x 2", and it requires a hole of 1.375" and about 1.75" of depth to mount.
