Answer: Yes, it is compact and lightweight, and it even comes with a mini storage bag. -

Answer: Yes, it is made from tear-resistant material and can withstand dogs walking or lying on it. -

Would this be a good tarp for animal quarters while field dressing a deer or elk?
Answer: It is very thin… you would have to put something on top of it to keep it from tearing, I use it as a kennel cover in the summertime to keep sun off kennel to keep kennel cooler on outings. A regular tarp might do better for your purpose. -

Can this be used as a tent footprint?
Answer: I don’t think it would be big enough for a tent and it is just a square. -

How should this be washed/cleaned?
Answer: It's better to be wash by hand for longer water resistance functionality, it can machine wash as well but it may damage the surface coating. -

Is it waterproof or water resistant?
Answer: I'd say resistant. Nice quality but a large amount of liquid is going to go through - Kind of like a rainfly on a tent. -

Are the corners like pockets?
Answer: No, they are not. It has a grommet in each corner that you can attach with small tent stakes to the ground. I attach it to the top and sides of the kennel when outside for shade with carabiners. -

Does this hold up to dogs walking or laying on it?
Answer: Yes, it is solid and tear-resistant, easy to clean, no worries of dog hair or its paw that won't damage this pocket picnic blanket, but don't bite off it. -

Is this blanket kind of noisy whenever you move on it?
Answer: It’s not cloth. More like a windbreaker jacket so it has some noise level. Does not sound loud.

While not suitable as a tarp for animal quarters or as a tent footprint, it is tear-resistant and easy to clean, making it perfect for outdoor recreation. It comes with grommets in each corner that can be attached to the ground using small tent stakes for added stability. As a windbreaker jacket material, it is somewhat noisy when moved on but not uncomfortable to sit on. Customers have used it for hiking, park outings, rock climbing and as a kennel cover, among other things. Some reviewers note it is smaller than expected and does not come with spikes to secure the corners.
