Answer: It is designed for a full #8 Cotton Line which translates to .250". -

Answer: It should work in your application if it is a normal clothesline setup. -

What is the mounting hole diameter?
Answer: .350" in diameter or about 1/3 of an inch. It is designed for heavy duty hooks that run about .300" in diameter with clearance. -
