The Explux Classic Full Glass PAR16 LED Flood Light Bulbs are 50W equivalent and dimmable. They have a 60-degree flood light angle and a color rendering index of 82. They can be used for indoor and outdoor uplights. The reached temperature depends on the ambient temperature inside the can fixture, and the ambient temperature should be lower than 40C for normal bulb operation. However, these bulbs do not work with Hi/Lo switches. The LEDs appear to be randomly arranged, which can look messy if the bulb is operated in any fixture where it can be seen. The lens of the bulbs is patterned in such a way that the pattern is projected on any surface the light is directed at. This causes uneven light coverage so that there is a grid of bright spots among a dimmer field, which can be a problem if the bulbs are used to illuminate art. Some customers complain that the LEDs flicker at lower levels, and some report a slightly harsher light due to the bulbs' length. However, the bulbs are bright and work well, especially in hot environments where other LED bulbs may fail quickly.
