It comes with a controller, but you will need to purchase batteries and a charger separately. The truck is 4WD and works best with 2 or 3 Lipo batteries. The top speed is approximately 35 mph on 3s. There is no gyro, and all the driving is left to the operator. The more expensive version has better quality tires than the one costing $330.00.
