Answer: Mine runs for much longer, all day actually on 1 tank of water. it will turn itself off when the water reservoir is empty, be sure to fill it all the way. -

Filled in the water tank plugged it in turned it on and no mist. Does anyone know what the problem may be?
Answer: Yes, this happened to me the first time too. I think it was because I filled it completely to the top and when I turned it over to sit in base, too much water drained out into the base unit before it could get started. I poured the water out of the base and poured some out of the tank (to about 1.5 to 2 inches below the top) and it worked fine after that. I have purchased about 6 of these and have never had that problem since when doing it this way. Good luck! -

Answer: It does not have a timer, but if you put in less water then it will not run as long. I think mine only goes about 6-7 hours. It does put out a good amount of mist and is very quiet. -

Answer: Yes. The length of running time depends on how much water you put in the tank. It will run for about 8 hours on a full tank. Use less water/oil if you want it to shut off earlier.
