Answer: Just buttons. It is super cute and we got lots of compliments but you will need to layer as it’s not very thick. The seams on the lining were not the best either, but for the price a good value. -

Is this jacket warm or is it thin?
Answer: This jacket is lined so both. It's not really thick, more on the thin side but because it is lined is warm. Perfect for a car seat. -

Is this machine washable?
Answer: It was a gift to a friend, so I don't have it here to look at the tag, but from what I remember of it you could machine wash. I would hang to dry to retain shape.
