- Features – Sodium chloride (NaCl) typically appears as a colorless or white crystalline powder. It dissolves well in water and glycerol, is slightly soluble in ethanol (alcohol) and liquid ammonia, and does not dissolve in concentrated hydrochloric acid
- Widely Used – It is widely used in biochemical experiments, preparation of culture media, and buffer solutions such as Tris buffer, phosphate-buffered saline (PBS), MPM-2 (mitotic protein monoclonal 2) cell lysis buffer, immunoprecipitation wash buffer, LB (Luria-Bertani) medium, dialysis buffer, density gradient solution preparation, nucleic acid and protein purification, analysis, determination of silver nitrate content, and trace determination of fluoride and silicate
