- Two years before Stranger Things started: Eddie Munson, Hellfire Club leader, metalhead and Hawkins outcast, has only one chance to achieve great things. Hawkins, Indiana: For most people, this is an idyllic, peaceful American town. But for Eddie Munson, it's like living in a grave of constant fear. Luckily, he only has a few months left to survive at Hawkins High School. What's a senior other than wasting time between the Hellfire Club and the Dungeon & Dragon sessions and the concerts of his band, Rusty Coffin? Eddie meets Paige at the worst bar in town. Paige has created a miracle. He escaped from Hawkins and is in Los Angeles he's made a pretty cool life for himself by working for a record producer. A chance for Eddie to prove himself gives; All Eddie has to do is bring him a demo tape of Rusty Coffin's best songs. There is only one problem: Money is required for registration. Money Eddie doesn't have. But he is ready to do whatever it takes, even if it means trusting his father. Al Munson has entered Eddie's life with a new questionable plan, and Eddie knows it's his only option to make enough money in enough time.
