I’m looking to replace an old towel ring. Can in use the existing drilled holes to fit this? They are vertically drilled 2.6cm apart

Is this product supposed to come with a grub screw? The instructions show one but I have not received one.
إجابه: There should be a small grub screw that secures the towel ring to the wall plate. -

How on earth are you supposed to get the backing plate off without damaging the 3M seal? (Instructions are diagram only and as clear as mud on this)
إجابه: Undo the small grub screw, this will release the backing plate. -

Can this hold a bath towel?
إجابه: It could hold a bath towel, but Personally I wouldn’t use it for one. It would have to be positioned higher up the wall and might look odd. I also bought the straight towel rail and this is perfect for larger towel. Of course this is just my opinion. -

Can this be glued to a tiled wall rather than screwed?
إجابه: I don't think it would be practical to glue it to tiles. It has a central attachment which can be screwed to the wall and then the towel ring is attached to it with a small grub screw.
