- The Scepter 5 Gallon Ameri-Can gas can is designed for safe fuel storage, fast and easy dispensing, and years of reliable service. This portable fuel container is perfect for filling up cars, lawnmowers, zero-turns, leaf blowers, chainsaws and more. Whether you’re stocking up for emergencies or seasonal landscaping, this high-capacity 5-gallon gas can provides reliable fuel storage where you need it. Scepter’s classic red gas can is made of durable HDPE and comes equipped with our child-safe Easy Flo spout and flame mitigation device (FMD) for an added layer of protection. The gas can’s wide base helps prevent tipping during transit and the Easy Flo spout reduces emissions and automatically shuts off when you’re done! Simply press the gas can spout trigger until you hear a click. Then, insert the spout into the fuel tank and rest the trigger on the tank opening. Push down and pour! When finished, remove the spout from the gas tank and the spout automatically locks and shuts-off. No spills. No Mess. Remember: Never use a fuel container to start or accelerate a fire. Gas and fire never mix.
