Brinly-Hardy Fertilizer Spreaders Editorial Review
The Brinly Broadcast Spreader received mostly positive reviews from customers. One customer mentioned that the spreader was easy to assemble and operate. They appreciated the side guard and large wheels, which made it easy to move the spreader even when fully loaded. Another customer compared the Brinly to the Scotts Turf Builder EdgeGuard DLX and stated that the Brinly was much more efficient and made the application process quicker. They also praised the spreader for its performance on their 5,500 square foot yard. However, there were a couple of complaints about the spreader. One customer mentioned that when the bin was full of fertilizer, it didn't distribute evenly and had to be shaken to ensure even distribution. Another customer suggested that Brinly should add a device to ensure the slide can be opened to the same spot every time to prevent extra fertilizer from flowing out unintentionally. Another customer experienced difficulty in finding the correct rate of application for Brinly on fertilizer products. Overall, the Brinly Broadcast Spreader was seen as an improvement compared to spreaders sold in big box stores, with easy assembly and efficient operation. However, some customers had issues with even distribution and the rate of application.
