Ancient & Classical Editorial Review
The Metamorphoses Penguin Classics paperback has had mixed reviews. One customer praised the fantastic translation and the liquid gold-like Prose. However, another reviewer had an issue with the formatting, saying that every other line of the poem was just one or two words long, making it uncomfortable to read. Two customers reported issues with the physical book itself, with one customer receiving a book with a messed-up cover and the other with noticeable damage. Despite the issues, one customer who had very little knowledge about classic mythology found it interesting and couldn't put it down. Another customer was pleased that the book arrived on time and would use the vendor again.
