The HOSCO Luthiers Tools TL-NF3C Nut Groove File is a set of three files specifically designed for making precise grooves in guitar nuts. The files are of high quality and durable build, making them well suited for luthiers and guitarists alike for precise nut adjustments. The files have a V-shaped groove that makes them easy to use and accurate, allowing for optimal string fitting. Customer Experience: - The files are durable and don’t flex easily - The precision of the files is high - The tool can be challenging to use for flat nut tops such as in a Start guitar - The U or V shape of the file can cause the groove's bottom to spread if the tool slightly deviates from the string line - Not suitable for Classical guitars - The tool is prone to waviness in the direction of the teeth, causing the groove to become too wide when not handled properly - May take some practice to use the tool effectively - The HOSCO Luthiers Tools TL-NF3C Nut Groove File is an excellent tool for bass guitar nut adjustment
