The Midas DM16 is a 16-channel mixer with phantom power and a powered board that is easy to use right out of the box. Although there is no official rack-mount kit available, some users have managed to mount it themselves. The mixer is highly recommended for DJs, churches and smaller meeting rooms, as it is light and easy to move around. The pre-amps are quiet and the EQs are flavorful and natural-sounding. The DM16 has a strong headphone amp and the build quality is sufficient for its price. The pots and sliders are wiggly and have low friction, but this is understandable for a mixer of this price. The headphone knob has a side to side wiggle causing slight channel imbalance unless it is turned to the center. The Midas DM16 is a quiet and affordably priced mixer that would be just right for any skilled person to create something good with.
