Format: Blu-ray Blu-ray Editorial Review
**** The Perfect Blue Blu-ray edition has garnered a mix of praise and critiques from customers, with most reviewers acknowledging the film's artistic brilliance while expressing concerns about the presentation. The film itself is Consistently hailed as a masterpiece, with many calling it one of their all-time favorites. However, a significant point of contention is the absence of English subtitles, which limits accessibility for non-Japanese speakers. Reviewers have noted that while the video quality is better than standard DVD, it falls short of expectations compared to other remastered titles like *Paprika*, leading some to feel that the Blu-ray does not fully meet the high standards one might anticipate from a modern release. On the other hand, the inclusion of the complete storyboard is viewed as a valuable treasure for enthusiasts and collectors, adding depth to the experience. Overall, while the content of *Perfect Blue* is revered, the technical aspects—specifically the lack of subtitles and subpar video quality—have prevented this release from receiving universal acclaim. **
